About Pete

I'm Pete, a workplace wellbeing specialist dedicated to creating healthier, more resilient teams and organisations.
My journey began with a career in the military, joining the RAF as an engineer. Early in my career, I encountered experiences that deeply impacted my perspective and mental health.
Deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 I was tasked with monitoring casualty and combat reports during deployment, I faced firsthand the harsh realities of conflict, an experience that significantly shaped my understanding of mental health.
The experiences I faced ultimately led to a challenging period of depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
However, through professional support, personal resilience, and unwavering encouragement from my family, I overcame these challenges and both my PTSD and depression are in remission. This transformative period deeply influenced my passion for mental health awareness, particularly within workplace settings.
In 2019, I established my own wellbeing business, initially delivering mental health workshops specifically tailored for managers. Recognising the pivotal role leaders play in shaping team culture and employee wellbeing, my business evolved rapidly. My offerings grew to include accredited training courses, keynote speeches, engaging webinars, and comprehensive wellbeing consultancy. I've had the privilege of collaborating with over 200 diverse organisations, ranging from small teams of 10 employees to larger organisations with over 8,000 staff members.

Throughout this journey, I've delivered services including everything from targeted webinars on burnout and resilience, to extensive wellbeing strategies involving policy development, preventive measures, reactive support, and initiatives promoting cultural change and organisational development.
My practical, data-driven and evidence-based approach has helped organisations significantly improve their wellbeing practices, directly enhancing employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace culture.
In 2022 I was honoured to receive second place in the televised national Who Cares Wins Awards hosted by The Sun, and Channel 4 for my work in suicide prevention and domestic abuse.
In 2024, I made a deliberate choice to step back slightly from day-to-day business operations, seeking a more balanced lifestyle and the opportunity to observe the long-term impact of my work beyond short-term engagements.
My philosophy combines lived experience with professional expertise, always focusing on delivering practical, actionable strategies tailored specifically to the unique needs of each organisation. My ultimate goal is to empower leaders and teams to actively manage and improve workplace wellbeing.
If you're interested in discussing how I can support your organisation's wellbeing journey, please get in touch. I'd love to connect and explore potential ways to collaborate.
